2026 Updates, What's been going on?!

Back in October of 2025, we shared some big picture goals we had made for Reverent in 2026, both in service to our community and in the value of our classes. It's mid-April (how did that happen?!), so we thought it was time for an update...
"We commit to providing opportunities for movement to TWENTY new kids throughout 2026 using sponsorships, camps, and by partnering with other local, like-hearted organizations."
1. During spring break, we were able to partner with a support group through Action Community Church and host a free spring camp for Foster & Adoptive youth.
In order to be extra protective of their privacy, we do not have any photos or videos to share - but we were so grateful to have had an opportunity to share our love for movement through obstacle courses, games, and challenges with 10 kids in that camp!
2. We currently have one student that has been training with us for a couple years that has allowed us to come alongside their family in a tough season by providing a partial scholarship to continue their training with us.
"You are going to start seeing updated skill charts in the gym, new tools for students to take control of their training, and an overall renewed energy to propel students toward their personal goals!"
1. In our Calisthenics section, we had a "flow chart" with 10 different flows, starting with beginner level all the way up to advance. As of a couple months ago, we introduced UPDATED flow charts that now has 20 flows, that feature better progression stages (especially for the beginner levels) and leveling up all the way to pro level! We even raffled off the original flow chart so one of our students now has it as a poster in their room! 😂

2. Our coaches have asked each student what one of their main goals is for the year and made a list for our team to easily check-in and encourage them toward those goals. Whether it's getting their first pull-up, a specific flip, or building more confidence to make friends in class - it's really fun to see what they a
re choosing to pursue for themselves.
3. If you have been to open gyms lately - the energy is REAL!
Upcoming plans to continue pursuing our 2026 commitments include a Girl's Intro to Parkour event (we did this in the past and have been eager to do it again). This will be a FREE event to connect with kids in the community and introduce them to movement that can take along with them into their life! Scheduling is currently in the works, so there will be updates really soon!
Why are we sharing all of this?
Just by being in classes, our students are teaming up with us to get involved in and create opportunities for movement to others in the community.
They may not always get to see it in action, so we want to make sure they get to hear what their time in class leads to for others.
How can you help?
If you know of a school or non-profit organization looking for raffle prizes to help support their mission, we are always happy to provide a gift certificate for those raffles. Though our team is small, this is a way for us to still get involved even if we can't always physically be there! Just send us an email and we can connect with you about your event: info@reverentmovement.com
We will post up some updates again in the Fall - until then, enjoy your summer (it's coming quickly!) and keep moving.
